The reopening of a luxury hotel in South Lanarkshire is set to bring 50 jobs to the area following a multi-million pound investment.

Crossbasket Castle, a hotel on the outskirts of Glasgow, is looking to fill vacancies across the business, including reception, waiting, bar, kitchen staff and more.

Following a £15m investment and major transformation, Crossbasket Castle will re-open to the public this August.

The relaunch with see an additional 40-bedrooms added to the hotel, and will include two five-bedroom eco-friendly lodges, a luxury spa and a new destination restaurant.

The venue is set to have capacity for an additional 35,000 visitors each year and is projected to deliver an economic boost to the South Lanarkshire economy of some £5m per annum.

Interested applicants can apply for roles at Trocadero’s restaurant, overseen by Michelin star chef Michel Roux Jr, and or at Crossbasket Hotel’s new spa.

A recruitment open day is taking place on Thursday from 3pm to 8pm.

• Waiting Staff
• Event Bar Staff
• Food Runners
• Kitchen Porters
• Day Porters
• Night Porters
• Housekeeping
• Chefs
• BOH Porters
• Spa Therapist
