Tributes have been paid to man who died after being found injured in a house in South Lanarkshire.
Emergency services were called shortly after 2am on Friday morning and William Wardrop was found in a property in Riverside Road, Larkhall.
The 23-year-old man was taken to Wishaw General Hospital, where he died a short time later.
His family said in a statement: “William was a much loved dad, brother and fiancé who will be sadly missed by us all.
“He will remain forever in our hearts.”
Police have confirmed another 23-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with Mr Wardrop’s death.
He is due to appear at Hamilton Sheriff Court on Monday.
Detective Inspector Frank Travers said: “I would like to thank members of the community for their co-operation and assistance during this investigation.”
