A motorcyclist has died following a three-vehicle crash in South Ayrshire.
The collision happened shortly after 6:30pm on Friday on the B7024 road between Alloway and Maybole, just north of Culroy.
It involved a red Honda VFR800 motorcycle, a grey Omoda 9 Noble, and a white Volkswagen Tiguan.
The 57-year-old motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene. No other injuries were reported.
Police Scotland said enquiries are ongoing to determine the circumstances surrounding the crash.
Police Scotland Sergeant Neal Galbraith said: “Our thoughts are with the family and friends of the man who died in this collision.
“Our investigation to establish exactly what happened is ongoing and we would urge anyone who may have information to get in touch.
“We would also be keen to speak to anyone who may have dashcam footage from the area around the time of the crash.
“Anyone who believes they can help is asked to call 101, quoting reference 2877 of March 13.”
