A motorcyclist who died after a single-vehicle crash on the A83 in Argyll and Bute has been named.

A 77-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene of the collision south of Clachan in Tarbert at around 12.05am on Thursday.

He has been named as Christopher Scott, known to family and friends as Chris.

Police confirmed that enquiries into the collision remain ongoing at this time.

Anyone with information is asked to call 101, quoting incident number 1392 of 9 May 2024.
