Adobe StockA missing ten-year-old schoolboy from South Lanarkshire has been traced.
Cole Gallacher was reported missing after last being seen in the Whistleberry Wynd area of Hamilton at around 9.30am on Tuesday.
Police had urged people to check their sheds and outbuildings in case he has taken shelter.
Shortly after 6pm, police confirmed Cole had been traced.
Members of the public were thanked by officers for sharing the appeal.
