Missing appeal for Glasgow woman launched as police ‘very concerned’Police Scotland

Police Scotland has launched a missing appeal to trace a woman last seen in the early hours of Monday morning.

Shona Biggins disappeared from the Greenacres Drive area of Glasgow at around 3am on October 21.

The 49-year-old is described as around 5ft 2in tall with long fair hair. She wears glasses and is believed to be wearing a black puffer-style jacket and leggings.

Officers are carrying out enquiries in in the Darnley, Pollok and Nitshill areas.

Sergeant Stefan Bain said: “We are very concerned for Shona’s welfare and are trying to trace her as quickly as possible to ensure she is safe and well.

“If anyone thinks they’ve seen her, or someone matching her description, since the early hours of this morning, please get in touch with us.

“Shona, if you see this appeal, please contact police so we can make sure you’re okay.”

Those with information regarding her whereabouts are urged to contact Police Scotland via 101 quoting reference 0741 of October 21.
