Police Scotland has launched a missing appeal to trace the whereabouts of a pensioner who disappeared on Monday evening.

Wong Ho was last seen in the Springburn Road area of Glasgow at 6.20pm on October 28, on board an 89 First bus service.

The 80-year-old got off the bus at the stop near 1378 Springburn Road and carried on walking south.

He s described as being 5 foot 5 inches tall, of slim build. The pensioner was wearing a burgundy hat and a black raincoat at the time of his disappearance.

Sergeant Menzies at Maryhill Police said: “We are growing increasingly concerned for the welfare of Wong and would ask if anyone knows his whereabouts to contact us as soon as possible.

“We would appeal to anyone who was in the area to check dash-cam footage or private CCTV for any sightings of Wong.

“Anyone who has information on his whereabouts is asked to contact Police Scotland on 101 quoting 3367 of October 28 2024.”
