Four men threatened residents and robbed a property of thousands in cash in Lanarkshire

At around 7.50pm on Thursday, February 18, the unidentified men entered the house on Grayston Manor, Chryston, and threatened the occupants with weapons terrifying them.

They then stole a four figure sum of cash before leaving. Nobody was injured during the robbery.

Police believe the men travelled in a burgundy Citroen Picasso which was later recovered by officers.

Detective sergeant Lorraine Wilson, of Lanarkshire CID, said: “This was a terrifying ordeal for those involved who, although not physically hurt, have been left quite shaken.

“I am appealing to anyone who may have been in the area around the time of the incident and may have noticed anything suspicious to please contact police.

“I would also ask anyone who may have seen a car matching the description in the area around the time of the incident to get in touch.”
