Google MapsAn investigation has been launched after the body of a man was discovered at a country park in Renfrewshire.
Emergency services were called to the scene at Castle Semple Country Park in Lochwinnoch in the early hours of Tuesday morning.
The body of a man was found in the area near St Winnoc Road, and officers have cordoned off Castle Semple Park to carry out enquiries.
The man’s death is being treated as “unexplained”.
A police spokesperson said: “Around 6.35am on Tuesday, September 15, we received a report of the death of a man at St Winnoc Road, Lochwinnoch.
“His death is being treated as unexplained.
“Next of kin have been informed.
“Enquiries are ongoing.”
