Police ScotlandThe search for the culprit and the murder weapon is ongoing more than two weeks after two men were found dead in a Glasgow flat.
The bodies of Paul Lafferty and Gary Beaton, aged 50 and 54, were found in a flat on Partick’s Chancellor Street around 4.40pm on August 16.
A major murder enquiry, named Operation Highbar, was launched following the discovery with detectives urging members of the public to come forward.
More than 170 properties have been visited as part of door-to-door enquiries, and officers have seized more than 4,000 hours of CCTV footage.
Two weeks on from the men’s deaths, no arrests have been made and the murder weapon has not been located.
SuppliedDetectives have established that both men knew each other, and they were both stabbed to death within a flat owned by Paul.
‘I will love you every day’
Paul’s daughters have paid tribute to him on social media.
Cerys Lafferty wrote: “I will love and miss you every single day for the rest of my life.”
Jade Lafferty also paid tribute to her father. She wrote: “I’ll love you for life, lifetimes.”
