Police ScotlandA man who died in a crash involving a lorry, van and car in Lanarkshire has been named.
Viorel Ciucu was pronounced dead at the scene of the collision on the A725 Shawhead flyover at the junction with the A8 slip road around 11.30am on Thursday, July 18.
The 50-year-old, who was driving a Ford Transit flat bed, was involved in the crash with a red HGV and a black Mini Cooper.
The occupants of the other vehicles were checked over at the scene.
A Police Scotland statement read: “Enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances of the crash and anyone who has any information is asked to call Police Scotland via 101, quoting incident number 1190 of July 18, 2024.”
