A man is set to stand trial next summer charged with attempted rape.
Corrie Lowe, 23, is said to have carried the alleged crime at a house in Wishaw, Lanarkshire on April 7 or 8, 2019.
Prosecutors claim he locked the door of the property, tried to kiss the woman, grabbed her, pushed her to the ground and lay on top of her.
It is then said Lowe forced off the woman’s clothes, struggled with her before attempting to rape her.
Lowe was not present for a hearing at the High Court in Glasgow, but his legal team pled not guilty on his behalf.
Lady Scott fixed a trial for July 2022. The case could last up to four days.
Lowe, of Saltcoats, Ayrshire, remains on bail.
