A man arrested in connection with the murder of a father-of-two in Glasgow has been charged.
Police Scotland confirmed that a 20-year-old man is due to appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court on Saturday, April 3, in relation to Kamil Charyszyan’s killing in Easterhouse.
Mr Charyszyan, 35, was found dead following an altercation on Conisborough Road, at around 10.05pm on Sunday, March 21.
Detective chief inspector Alan McAlpine, of the Major Investigation Team, said: “We continue to support Kamil’s family and our thoughts are very much with them at this time.
“Our enquiries continue and I would like to thank the community for their assistance with our investigation so far.
“I would urge anyone who has not been in touch who has information, no matter how insignificant they might think it is, to contact us.”
Police have asked anyone who can help with their enquiries to call the investigation team via 101, quoting incident number 4803 of Sunday, March 21, 2021, or make a call anonymously to the charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
Detectives have also set up an online portal to encourage members of the public to submit information including photos or videos here.
