© Google Maps 2024A man has been charged after a woman was “left shaken” following an alleged sexual assault in Paisley.
The incident occurred at around 1.30am on Sunday, July 31, in the Forbes Place area of the town centre.
A 31-year-old man was arrested in connection with the incident on Monday, and police have now confirmed he has been charged.
The victim, a 41-year-old woman, was left shaken as a result of the incident and is currently being provided support by specialist officers.
The man is due to appear at Paisley Sheriff Court on Tuesday, August 2, 2022.
