Man sought after exiting car at bus stop and attacking victim

A man was left in hospital after being attacked near a bus station in Glasgow.

Emergency services were called to Killermont Street, near to Buchanan Bus Station, after a 37-year-old was attacked by a man who exited a car at around 11pm on Friday.

He was taken to Glasgow Royal Infirmary for treatment to a “serious” injury.

The suspect, described as white, around 5ft 7in inches tall, and in his 20s with short blonde hair was last seen turning right on to West Nile Street in a silver car.

It is believed there were two other white men in the vehicle.

Police constable Kat Currie said: “A man has sustained a serious injury and it is imperative we trace whoever is responsible.

“I would urge anyone with information about this incident to contact police.

“Anyone with information should contact Police Scotland via 101 quoting incident number 2149 of Monday, April 3, 2023. Alternatively contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
