A man has been taken to hospital with “serious injuries” after being attacked in Glasgow.
Emergency services were called to reports of a man being assaulted in the Maryhill area around 6.15am on Tuesday.
He was traced on Garscube Road and taken to hospital for treatment of serious but not life-threatening injuries.
Police say enquiries are ongoing.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “We were made aware of a man having been assaulted in the Maryhill area of Glasgow around 6.15am on Tuesday, April 7, 2026.
“The man was traced on Garscube Road and has been taken to hospital for treatment.
“His injuries are serious but not described as life-threatening.
“Enquiries are ongoing.”
