Man taken to hospital with serious injuries after Boxing Day assault

Emergency services were called to a property in Clydebank after a 25-year-old man was assaulted on Tuesday.

A man was taken to hospital with serious injuries after being assaulted in a property in West Dunbartonshire on Boxing Day.

Emergency services were called to a property in the Braes Avenue area of Clydebank after receiving reports of an assault at around 9.30am on Tuesday.

A 25-year-old man was discovered within with serious injuries. He was taken to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital for treatment.

Police are appealing for anyone with any information into this incident to come forward.

Detective constable Calum Hall said: “This assault happened at a time when there were people around and we are keen to speak to anyone who saw anything relating to this incident.

“We are also asking anyone who has private CCTV footage or who may have been driving in the area at the time and has dash-cam that could help with our enquiries to get in touch.”
