A man has been taken to hospital with a serious leg injury following an attack in North Lanarkshire on Friday night.
Police were called to a report of an assault in the Blair Road area of Coatbridge at around 9.30pm.
A 29-year-old man was taken to University Hospital Monklands in Airdrie for treatment to a serious leg injury.
A force spokesperson said: “Enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances.”
