A man has been taken to hospital in “serious” condition after being struck by a car in Glasgow.
Officers were called to the scene of a crash, involving a car and pedestrian, on the A77, Eglinton Street on Monday.
Emergency services attended and the 73-year-old man was taken to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital where his condition is described as “serious”.
Police confirmed the 30-year-old male driver of the black Jeep Compass was not injured.
Police said enquiries into the incident are “ongoing” and urged anyone with information to comeward.
Constable Stuart Tangny said: “I would ask anyone who may have witnessed the crash, or who may have dash-cam footage, and has not yet spoken to or provided this information to officers, to contact us as soon as possible.
“Anyone with information is urged to contact Police Scotland on 101 quoting reference 0025 of September 2, 2024.”
