The incident took place on Wellshot Road, at around 1.55pm on Wednesday.
Emergency services attended and took a man to hospital by ambulance.
His current condition is unknown.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Officers were called to Wellshot Road in Glasgow at around 1.55pm on Wednesday, February 22, 2023 following an assault.
“A man has been taken to hospital by ambulance.
“Enquiries are ongoing and a police presence remains at the scene.”
