A man has been taken to hospital after a two-car crash on Wednesday near Kilmarnock.
Emergency services were called to the A71 between Hurlford and Galston following reports of a collision at around 5.25pm.
One man was taken to hospital for treatment, the seriousness of his injuries is not known.
An investigation to establish the full circumstances surrounding the incident is ongoing.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “The A71 between Hurlford and Galston has reopened following a two-car crash which was reported around 5.25pm on Wednesday, November 5, 2025.
“Emergency services attended and one man was taken to hospital for treatment.
“Enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances.”
