A man was taken to hospital after being seriously assaulted in South Lanarkshire.
Police were called to the Skye Road area of Rutherglen at around 9.50pm on Thursday.
A 29-year-old was taken to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital for treatment.
His current condition is unknown.
Enquiries into the incident remain ongoing.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 9.50pm on Thursday, May 18, 2023, we received a report that a 29-year-old man had been seriously assaulted in Skye Road, Rutherglen.
“He was taken to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital for treatment.
“Enquiries are ongoing.”
