A man has been taken to hospital after a serious assault in Greenock on Thursday.
The attack happened on the town’s Belville Street at around 9am.
A 31-year-old man was taken to hospital for treatment after the incident. His condition is not known.
No arrests have been made, and an investigation is ongoing.
Detective constable Alison Eadie said: “Enquiries are ongoing and we are appealing to anyone who witnessed the incident to contact us.
“We’d also ask anyone with dash-cam footage which could assist our enquiries to come forward.”
