A man has been taken to hospital after a one-vehicle crash on the M8 during rush hour on Friday morning.
Emergency services were called to the eastbound offslip at Junction 12 Cumbernauld Road Interchange at around 7am near Blackhill in Glasgow.
Amey, which maintains the South-West Trunk Road Network, said one lane remained closed at 8.09am.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 7am on Friday, September 29, 2023, officers were called to the M8 Eastbound at Junction 12 following a report of a one-vehicle crash.
“Emergency services attended and one man was taken to hospital by ambulance as a precaution.”
