A man has been taken to hospital after a four-vehicle crash on the M74 in Glasgow.

Officers were called to the southbound carriageway at junction 12 around 1.30pm on Monday.

Police said a 30-year-old man has been taken to Wishaw General Hospital by ambulance.

Enquiries into the incident are “ongoing”.

Drivers have been urged to use an alternative route.
