A man was taken to hospital after falling from a roof in Kilmarnock.

Police were called to King Street at around 9.15pm on Saturday after receiving reports of a man falling from a roof.

The 49-year-old was taken to hospital for treatment.

His condition is currently unknown.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 9.15pm on Saturday, September 28, 2024, officers received a report of a man having been injured after falling from a roof on King Street, Kilmarnock.

“The 49-year-old man was taken to hospital for treatment.

“Enquiries are ongoing.”
