Emergency services were called to Society Street following reports of a serious assault at around 7.10am.
A man was taken to hospital for treatment after the incident.
No arrests have been made and an investigation is ongoing.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 7.10am on Thursday, July 9, 2026, officers received a report of a serious assault on Society Street, Glasgow.
“A man was taken to hospital for treatment.
“Enquiries are ongoing.”
