Multiple police vehicles were called to the scene and a man was taken to hospital following the incident.

A man was taken to hospital following a disturbance outside Scotstoun Islamic Community Centre on Friday.

Multiple police vehicles and a police van were called to the scene around 1pm following reports of a disturbance outside the centre on Burnham Road.

The incident resulted in traffic tail backs onto South Street and Dumbarton Road.

A man was injured as a result of the incident and was taken to hospital.

Police say investigations into the incident are ongoing.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 1pm on Friday, February 10, 2023, police were called to a report of a disturbance outside the Scotstoun Islamic Community Centre on Burnham Road, Scotstoun, Glasgow. 

“A man was injured during the incident and has been taken to hospital. “Enquiries are continuing.”
