A man has been taken to hospital after being struck by a bus near a station in Glasgow.

Emergency services were called to the city’s Killermont Street, next to Buchanan Bus Station, at around 3pm on Tuesday.

The man was taken to Glasgow Royal Infirmary. His current condition is unknown.

Enquiries into the incident remain ongoing.

A police spokesperson said: “Around 3pm on Tuesday, July 4 2023 police received a report of a man being struck by a bus in Killermont Street near to Renfield Street, Glasgow.

“Emergency services attended and the man has been taken by ambulance to Glasgow Royal Infirmary.

“Enquiries are ongoing.”
