A man has been taken to hospital after being stabbed on a street in South Lanarkshire.
Emergency services were called to reports of a serious assault on Main Street in Cambuslang, at around midday on Tuesday.
A man was taken to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital for treatment following the incident.
Police are continuing to carry out enquiries.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around midday on Tuesday, April 22 2025, police were called to a report of a serious assault on Main Street, Cambuslang.
“A man has been taken by ambulance to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital. Enquiries are continuing.”
An SAS spokesperson said: “We received a call from Police Scotland at 12.03pm to attend an incident on Main Street, Cambuslang, and dispatched one ambulance and critical care paramedic to the scene.
“We transported one male patient to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital.”
