A man has been taken to hospital after he was discovered seriously injured within a car in an East Renfrewshire park.
Emergency services were called to a car park in the Rouken Glen area after reports of the discovery around 1.35pm.
A 41-year-old man was taken to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital with serious injuries. Police say the incident was contained and that there are no suspicious circumstances.
A spokesperson for the force said: “Officers and emergency services are in attendance in a car park in the Rouken Glen area after a man was found injured within a vehicle.
“The incident was reported at around 1.35pm on Wednesday, May 14, 2025.
“The 41-year-old man has been taken to hospital for treatment of what are described as serious injuries.
“This was a contained incident, with no risk to the wider public, and there are no suspicious circumstances.”
A Scottish Ambulance Service spokesperson added: “We received a call at 1.41pm to attend an incident at Rouken Glen Park, East Renfrewshire.
“An ambulance was dispatched to the scene and one patient was transported to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital, Glasgow.”
