A man was taken to hospital after being attacked on a street in Glasgow.
The incident took place on Shettleston Road, at around 7.10pm on Saturday.
Emergency services attended and took a 35-year-old man to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital.
His current condition is unknown.
A spokesman for Police Scotland said: “Around 7.10pm on Saturday, October 9, police received a report a man had been seriously assaulted in Shettleston Road, Glasgow.
“Emergency services attended, and a 35-year-old man was taken to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital.
“Enquiries are ongoing.”
