A man has been assaulted and robbed near a bingo hall in Glasgow.
The 40-year-old was walking along Hawthorn Street, Possilpark, when the attack took place.
Police were called to the scene just before 4pm on Wednesday.
Emergency services also attended and the man was taken to Glasgow Royal Infirmary as a precaution.
A spokesperson for the force said: “At around 3.50pm on Wednesday, we received a report that a 40-year-old man had been the victim of a robbery on Hawthorn Street, Glasgow.
“He was taken to Glasgow Royal Infirmary as a precaution.
“Enquiries into the incident are ongoing.”
