A man has suffered a serious facial injury following an attack near a KFC in Glasgow.
The incident occurred on Renfield Street near to the fast food restaurant around 3.30am on Sunday.
The 62-year-old was taken to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital for treatment following the assault.
Detective Constable John Fagan, of Greater Glasgow CID, said: “Our enquiries into this incident are at an early stage and I am appealing for anyone who may have witnessed the assault to get in touch.
“Anyone with information that may assist our investigation should contact 101, quoting incident number 0631 of October 9, 2022.
“Alternatively, Crimestoppers can be contacted on 0800 555 111, where anonymity can be maintained.”
