A man is in a serious condition in hospital after he was hit by a car in Glasgow.
A 51-year-old man was struck by a BMW when he was walking along Rodney Street, near to its junction with Baird’s Brae, around 5.45pm on Tuesday.
Emergency services attended and he was taken to Glasgow Royal Infirmary, where medical staff describe his condition as serious.
The driver of the car was uninjured but has been left badly shaken by the incident.
Police have launched an appeal for information and have urged anyone who may have seen the incident to contact them on 101.
