A man has been stabbed by an attacker wearing all black including a mask in Clydebank.
Police are appealing for witnesses to the serious assault in Craigbanzo Street around 10.30pm on Friday, August 16 when a 34-year-old man was stabbed.
He suffered “significant injury” to his shoulder and arm and was taken to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital in Glasgow.
Officers said his condition is described as “serious”.
The suspect is described as a large built male, around 6ft 4ins tall and was wearing all black with a black mask and black skip cap.
Detective Constable Jack Muir from Clydebank CID said: “This attack has resulted in the victim sustaining very serious injuries and we are eager to trace the male responsible, as well as hear from anyone who witnessed what happened.
“If you were in the Craigbanzo Street area on Friday evening and saw anything suspicious or believe you can help us identify the male responsible, then please contact police immediately.”
