iStockAn investigation has been launched after a man was “significantly” injured in an attack at a property in Ayr.
A 23-year-old man was seriously assaulted at an address on Princes Court around 1am on November 24.
Police believe the incident was a targeted attack and have appealed to any witnesses to come forward.
Detective sergeant Graham Cuthill said: “A man has suffered significant injuries in what we believe was a targeted attack.
“Our enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances and I am appealing to anyone who may have witnessed anything to contact us.
“I would also appeal to anyone who was in the area and who may have dash cam or private CCTV footage which could assist us to get in touch.”
