A man is accused of seriously injuring a woman by attacking her with his prosthetic hand.
Thomas Proudfoot allegedly assaulted Christina Thomson at a property in Glasgow’s King’s Park on August 18 this year.
Prosecutors state the 25-year-old struck Ms Thomson on the arm with the artificial hand.
It is further alleged Proudfoot spat on her face and uttered threats of violence towards her.
Ms Thomson is said to have been severely injured and permanently disfigured as a result of the attack.
Proudfoot is also alleged to have been on bail from October 29, 2020, at the time.
On Tuesday, Proudfoot pled not guilty at Glasgow Sheriff Court to the single charge.
A trial was fixed for June next year by sheriff Sean Murphy QC.
