A man has been left injured after being stabbed in a Glasgow park.
The 45-year-old was taken to hospital following the attack that took place in Penilee Park on Tuesday night.
Police were called to the scene at around 9pm and the area was cordoned off as officers investigated the incident.
Emergency services were also in attendance and the man was taken to hospital where medical staff describe his condition as stable.
Police are now appealing for information regarding the attack.
A spokeswoman for the force said: “Detectives are investigating a serious assault which occurred within Penilee Park, Glasgow, at around 9pm on Tuesday.
“A 45-year-old man was taken to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital for treatment to a stab wound. Medical staff describe his condition as stable.
“Anyone with information regarding this incident is asked to contact Police Scotland through 101.”
