A man has been left with serious injuries after being stabbed on a Glasgow street.
The 27-year-old was attacked on Skirsa Street at Vaila Street near St Kentigern’s Cemetery in Lambhill at around 9.30pm on Saturday.
Emergency services attended the scene and he was taken to the Queen Elizabeth University hospital for treatment to his injuries.
Medical staff at the hospital have described his condition as serious but not life threatening.
Police are now appealing for witnesses and officers investigating the incident say they are following a positive line of enquiry.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 9.30pm on Saturday, 28 May, 2022, police were called to the Vaila Street area of Glasgow, following a report of the serious assault of a 27-year-old man.
“Officers are following a positive line of enquiry and anyone with information should contact police on 101.”
