Adobe StockA man was left seriously injured after an attacker forced entry to a property in Paisley.
The incident took place in Springbank Terrace and was reported to officers at around 10.55pm on Tuesday, October 19.
A 55-year-old man sustained serious injuries and was taken to hospital for treatment.
Detective Sergeant Fraser Gun said: “Our enquiries into this incident are ongoing and I would urge anyone with information to come forward.
“In particular we would be keen to speak to anyone seen in the area wearing dark coloured clothing and acting suspiciously.
“We would also ask anyone with private CCTV or dashcam footage from the area to review this and pass anything of note to us.
