Man seriously assaulted and robbed by three men in 'terrifying incident' in Clydebank

A man was taken to hospital after being seriously assaulted and robbed by three men in Clydebank.

The 45-year-old as approached by three men at the junction of Kilbowie Road and East Thomson Street between 12am and 1.30am on Monday.

He was attacked and then robbed off his mobile phone, cash, house and car keys.

The man was then taken to hospital for treatment to serious injuries.

Detective Constable Jordan Moore said: “This was a terrifying incident for the man involved and our enquiries are ongoing to trace the men responsible.

“I would ask that anyone who witnessed the incident or was in the area around the time and saw something suspicious get in touch with officers.

“I’d also ask that those in the local area who have private CCTV review this to see if it has captured anything that could assist with our investigation.”
