A man has been reported to the Procurator Fiscal after a crash on the M8 caused long tailbacks during rush hour.
Police were called to the scene of a three-vehicle collision at junction five of the motorway on the eastbound carriageway at around 8.25am on Monday.
There were no recorded injuries as a result.
Police said a man was reported to the Procurator Fiscal in connection with road traffic offences following the collision.
Traffic Scotland reported roads remained congested nearly two hours after the crash, with long queues and delays of up to 25 minutes.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 8.25am on Monday, November 28, police received a report of a road crash involving three vehicles at junction five of the M8 eastbound.
“There are no reports of any injuries. One man has been reported to the Procurator Fiscal in connection with road traffic offences.”
