A man was pronounced dead after being discovered on the street in Glasgow.

Emergency services were called to Alderman Road in the Knightswood area around 10.40am following reports of concern for a man.

The individual was confirmed dead at the scene, and his next of kin were made aware.

There are any suspicious circumstances surrounding the incident, and a report is due to be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 10.40am on Wednesday, April 2, 2025, we received a report of concern for a man in Alderman Road, Glasgow.

“Emergency services attended and the man was pronounced dead. His next of kin have been made aware.

“There are not believed to any suspicious circumstances.

“A report has been submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.”
