The body of a man has been found near a river in Renfrewshire.
Emergency services were alerted to a discovery near the White Cart Water off the Inchinnan Road in Paisley at around 5pm on Wednesday.
The body of a 39-year-old man was recovered.
There are no suspicious circumstances surrounding the incident. A report is due to be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 5pm on Wednesday, May 21, we received a report of a body near to White Cart Water, off the Inchinnan Road, at Paisley.
“Emergency services attended and the body of a 39-year-old man was recovered.
“The death is not being treated as suspicious and a report will be sent to the Procurator Fiscal.”
