Man missing for nine days ‘may have travelled to Blackpool’ Police Scotland

A man who disappeared nine days ago “may have travelled to Blackpool”, police have said.

Christopher Wright was last seen in the East Campbell Street area of Glasgow, at around 8am on Tuesday, July 19.

Police said the 45-year-old has links to Blackpool, and may have travelled there.

Christopher has been described as being white, around 5ft 9in tall, with ginger/greying hair and beard.

When last seen he was wearing a black North Face jacket, black trousers and dark walking shoes.

The public have been told “not to approach him” but instead contact the police immediately.

Detective Inspector Barrie Kirkland said: “We want to trace Christopher as quickly as possible and I’d be interested to hear from anyone who has seen or spoken to him since Tuesday, July 19.

“The public should not approach him but should report any sightings to Police Scotland immediately.

“Anyone with information should contact police on 101, quoting reference 2873 of July 19, or speak to any officer.”
