A man has been left with severe injuries after being attacked by several men in Glasgow.

Shortly after 10.15pm on Sunday, officers received a report that man had been attacked on Cuthelton Street by three or four unknown men.

The 30-year-old victim was taken to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital for treatment to serious injuries.

The men involved are all described as being white, in their 30s, and dressed in all dark clothing.

Detective Constable Gill Burns of Shettleston Police Station said: “Enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances and I am appealing to anyone who may have witnessed the assault, or noticed anything suspicious in the area, to contact us.

“You can call 101, quoting incident 3959 of Sunday, April 30.

“Alternatively, calls can be made anonymously to Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
