An investigation has been launched into a disturbance, between 11.15pm and 11.45pm on Thursday, which took place in Castlemilk Drive.

A 20-year-old man was seriously assaulted and was taken to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital with a puncture wound.

An appeal has been made after a white van seen to drive towards the man, before making off along Ardencraig Road.

Detective Constable Craig Phee said: “We are appealing for witnesses who may have seen this disturbance or who may have seen a white van in the immediate area of this disturbance to get in touch.

“I also urge any motorists who were in the area and who may have dashcam footage which could assist with our enquiries into the incident to get in touch.”
