A man has been left injured following a robbery and assault in West Dunbartonshire.
Emergency services were called to Colquhoun Drive at its junction with Heather Avenue and Bowie Road, in Alexandria, on Tuesday at around 7.10pm after a 73-year-old man was assaulted and robbed of his wallet.
The man who committed the attack was last seen heading in the direction of Bowie Road.
He is described as being around 6ft tall, and was wearing a dark hooded top, dark trousers, and light-coloured trainers.
Police are appealing for information following the incident.
Detective Constable Calum Hall said: “The victim was left injured and understandably shaken as a result of this incident.
“Our enquiries are ongoing and I am appealing for anyone who witnessed the incident or who was in the area around the time and may have dash-cam footage which could assist us to get in touch.”
