A man was left in hospital after being assaulted on a street in West Dunbartonshire.
Emergency services were called to the Singer Street area of Clydebank at around 1.30am on Saturday after a 33-year-old man was attacked.
He was subsequently taken to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital for treatment.
Officers are appealing for any witnesses into the incident to come forward.
Detective Constable Aislinn MacLeod said: “Our enquiries are ongoing and we are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed this to contact us.
“We also ask anyone who may have private CCTV of the area at the time to come forward.”
